Sylvia Mak

Appointed by the Bishop as a foundation governor. Retired after a mixed career; teaching primary school children in Saudi Arabia and Literacy Coordinator in Mexico; working in England in central and local government, with financial and managerial responsibilities. I was a member of the PCC at Christchurch, an Anglican Episcopalian church in Mexico City for five years. I was secretary of the reordering committee at St Margaret’s Church for several years. I am currently on the social affairs/outreach committee and have set up a team presenting the Open the Book scheme at Old Catton Church of England Junior School. I have also had many years experience working with children in the voluntary sector including Guiding and Red Cross.

Judy Leggett

Retired after a career in IT and Human Resources, both operational and managerial, I have been a governor for over 20 years - primary, state boarding school and an academy. Through my work with NGN I attended meetings/conferences of the National Governors' Association (NGA) and was elected a board member for 3 years. Through the role of NGN as a Consultee of NCC I learnt about the work of the Local Authority and stood and was elected as a County Councillor for the Old Catton Division in 2011 until 2017. I am a member of Old Catton Parish Council and Sprowston Town Council.
