If you are feeling creative have a go at these art and DT activities. There will be a new one each week. You might find some easier than others or you might not fancy doing them every week – that’s Ok!
If you haven’t got what you need to complete the task, don’t panic – see if you can substitute equipment or materials for things you do have.
Let me know how you get on – email pictures to jcooper8nr5@nsix.org.uk

Want to be a world record breaker?
Hi Old Catton! Young Voices are inviting schools across the world to share in a really special event that brings everyone together to pay tribute to all our teachers. We have the opportunity to break a world record and join in with the world's largest simultaneous sing along! You can be part of the World's Largest Children's Choir at Home Performance!
On 2nd June 2020, from the safety of your homes, Old Catton is invited, along with families and children from across the world, to join together and sing "The Power in Me" to pay tribute to all teachers.
It's incredibly simple to get involved. Simply register (for free) at the link below and you'll be sent all the information, including all the resources like lyrics and backing tracks you need to take part.

In the weeks leading up to the main event on 2nd June, we can also take part in the #PowerInMe singing challenge and film yourselves singing the song's lyrics "I've Got the Power in Me" and post it online with the hashtag to see who responds completing the song's chorus "You've Got the Power in You!"
It's all explained by the UK and US conductors David Lawrence and Francisco Nunez here:https://vimeo.com/414954445
I've signed up and can't wait to start singing along with the rest of the world to celebrate our wonderful school and all it's marvellous teachers!
We'd love to see your efforts, so please send your rehearsal videos to us and we can share them on our music page. Have fun, Old Catton!
